I rarely see my best friend these days. He gives me random calls from time to time but my favorite would be the times he’d buy some beers to prepare for his phone call, sit by his living room window, and call me for a long conversation. He’d say ridiculous things like, “Magic is nothing but icing. At the end of the day, the cake still takes the cake!” and the world would actually suddenly make sense. Now that’s some quality time.
